I listened ot the first track. Love the intro. This could work for that cadillac commercial cut that ML was looking for for his showreel. I'm not sold on the way the vocal phrases overlap at about :32, sounds like seperate takes; maybe that was intended? Overall great work though. Great production and performances.

What do you plan to do with your stuff? Are you looking to pitch as an artist or for film/tv? Best of luck in whatever direction you go!

hi,
It's all seperate takes ;) I've never been very good at singing so I try my best but I find it easier and more productive to do a line at a time and i'll do that four or five times over until i get a decent take, then move onto the next line.

I have to be honest and tell you that i've not looked into pitching my music for anything, i've only been writing seriously for about 6-8 months and it's just a little outlet/hobby that i do in my spare time in my bedroom. But if people like it, i wouldn't mind trying to get it out there and listened to by some pro's. I guess that's why i joined this forum really, i've been looking around for a decent songwriter's forum for a while, but this site seems to be so much more. Forgive my niievity surrounding 'taxi'. I guess i'm just biding my time a little to make sure i'm not a complete no-hoper and maybe i could make a go of this in someway. In anycase, for now, the music i write takes a back seat to my band stuff.

Cheers for listening :)

Chris.
