My first deal, and an amazing phone call!!

Hi everyone,Just wanted to pass on the word...I JUST SIGNED MY FIRST DEAL! It's with a pretty well respected music Library from what I understand, so I'm pretty excited (can you tell?)It's an instrumental track and you can listen to it here:http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueAll I can say is:THANK YOU TAXI!! Even though this is really just a first step of sorts, it wouldn't be possible if it weren't for this amazing service that Taxi is providing. I now know I'm on the right track, and have got something that the industry is interested in. It's taken a while to get here, so for me, that knowledge is invaluable.In case you're wondering about the second part of my thread title, I'd like to point out another amazing thing that Taxi, and in particular, the Road Rally, can make happen... During the Rally, like many of us I handed out my CD to quite a few industry folks after the panels, including the "Producers looking for hits," the last Panel of the weekend. I won't name any names, but this morning, ONE OF THEM CALLED ME!! We had a great chat and he told me I had talent, asked me about the songs on my CD, and said he'd be interested in working with me on future projects he's got coming up. Needless to say, after we hung up the phone, I had to work hard to scrape my jaw off the floor. Now if you ask me, that's pretty cool. A call from a big-time producer, because I bothered to go to a free music convention. Crazy!There's a bit of my jaw still stuck to the floor, so back to scraping. Cheers!!-AR
