Hi folks,
I'm hoping to get to the rally - my first! Still arranging flights (from Victoria, BC). I have a king bed room booked but I'd prefer to cut costs and share with someone (my husband would probably prefer that be a female). Does any woman have a two-bed room they might like to share? Does anyone know if it's possible to put a cot in a king bed room? I'm also VERY concerned about how on earth I am going to eat affordably and well over the weekend. I am on a tight budget and also follow a wheat & dairy-free diet. I have a feeling it will be difficult, as airport hotel strips tend to be fast-food land. Can some of you veterans suggest strategies. Do you know if there is any Asian food (Japanese, Thai etc.) nearby? Also it's been a longtime since I was in LA. It seems like for the convention itself, no car is necessary... but is it possible to get to other parts of the city without a car... before or after?
Thanks for any advice or suggestions anyone can offer...
I'll have the dot mid-forehead...
