Rally Deal - Still Pinching Myself!

I'm still wearing my badge around for proof that it actually happened! A lot of you already heard about this but I have to share my joy here too!

I signed a contract at the rally to join an extremely talented roster of composers who work with a music producer who "is currently the provider of music for a huge daytime television talk show," amongst many other things. This is an opportunity I have been dreaming of for a while so my gratitude and happiness is overflowing!

I had a few songs forwarded to this company earlier in the year but hadn't heard anything since. This success story actually all began with a beautiful poem written by forum member Allen. I was so moved it by it, I wanted to add music. Since then we've co-written several pieces. Allen informed me just weeks before the Rally that he had sent a demo of one of our songs directly to the Producer who was interested enough to add me to the team!

The moral of this story is, don't be afraid to reach out and try co-writing! Thank you Allen, thank you Mr. Cat Herder, and thank you Taxi for giving me this incredible opportunity!
