LA - ukelele player OR bagpiper NEEDED

Post by irishtea » Fri Dec 10, 2010 1:06 pm

Anyone in the LA area know any VERY GOOD ukelele players and/or bagpipers??

No, not for the same song, but that would definitely be a helluva combination.

I know a really bad uke player (me :) ) but that won't help you... You might want to check with the LAPD Emerald Society Pipes and Drums to see if you could get one of their baggers to help you with your recording. Here is a link to their website contact page http://lapespipesanddrums.com/Home_Page.php

Cat Herder just commented over in the Biz forum about the need for Uke music..........hmmm. My nephew plays Highland Pipes and just couldn't get his head around me wanting him to play the blues with pipes, similar to "James Brown ate My Bagpipes".

Got it Suz! Thanks!! I'll check into it.

Thanks everyone for your help. Hopefully I'll find someone soon...
