And I'll add that watching TV shows that play the kind of music you specialize in is the way to do that. If you're a rock/metal person, watch Dog The Bounty Hunter, Overhaulin' or shows like that. Look to see who the library is when the credits roll. That's one way to find libraries where you might be a good fit. This is exactly how I got into my current library. They passed on me at first, but I asked the guy for advice (was it my music or my production skills, etc.?), took his advice, worked on some new stuff, and a couple months later submitted it and got accepted this time.T&V Marino wrote:And if they take the time to listen to our music, we are VERY grateful and thank them -- even if they ultimately pass on signing it.
