3 for 3 on catchy radio-ready country instrumentals

Post by teleblaster » Thu Jan 13, 2011 2:50 pm

'She Digs My Tractor', 'Whatever it Takes' and 'Turkey Shoot' (all on my TAXI page) were fowarded to this listing.

CATCHY, RADIO-READY CONTEMPORARY COUNTRY SONGS with VOCALS and INSTRUMENTALS a la Sugarland, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood wanted by a busy Music Publisher servicing a wide variety of TV and film projects. Ballads to uptempos welcome but track must evoke an authentic current Country vibe. Solid production and strong, memorable refrains and hooks will work well here! Vocals (GUY/GIRL OK) should be able to sell the song with solid phrasing and confident pitch. Lyrics should be heartfelt, above all, covering anything from romance and family to partying and good times. Instrumental tracks should include a melody lead line and not sound like a music bed without the vocal track. You must own 100% of your master recording and composition. All performances (instrumental and vocal) MUST be cleared for film & TV use. Broadcast quality needed (excellent home recordings are fine). Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than Monday, December 13, 2010. TAXI #Y101213CO

Thanks all. Turkey Shoot was placed in an episode of 'The Dudeson's in America' last season. They used it for a 1:30 in one of their scenes. Thats said I wasn't sure if it would get through cuz it's kind of rough around the edges, but I think the vibe overrides some or all of that.
