Must be my week for stories......
My first Taxi deal came in 2008 when a co- write ( Squids, Ryan(my son) and myself ) of Dark Moon Over Me got signed by a premier West Coast Library. Squids did the vocals ( and did a great job). towards the end of last year I started reviewing my tunes and selected tunes that I could expand on. Making instrumentals, and recutting female vocals with male vocals, different instrumental versions etc, all to increase the size and depth of my catalog. Many of you heard the Sinatra style singer I've been using. Well he cut a version of Dark Moon and today that same library signed it. So for this song I have both a male and female vocal, a female vocal In Portuguese ( again Squids knocked it out of the park) and a full instrumental version.
And on top of this the Library sent me an e-mail asking for more ..... WAHOO!
