Female Vocal with own Recording Needed - Thank you

Post by sizzler52 » Sun Jan 16, 2011 7:17 am

Hi to All budding females vocalists
I am not a band, (although have been in a number) but I am a composer / writer who is in need of a good female vocalist on odd occasions for preparing demos and library tracks. I currently have instrumental music in a variety of genres in a number of libraries but have not really been writing vocal songs due to not having found a suitable vocalist and not having the ability in that direction myself.

What I really need is someone, anywhere in the world, who I can send an mp3 to who can record a vocal track against the prepared track at a reasonable quality (and fairly quickly) and return it in .wav format to be mixed with the underscore.

I can't pay up front for this service but of course you would be credited on any tracks you were part of (I register all my music with the PRS). When the library licenses a track it usually pays a license fee (varies depending on the track length and genre), then if it's for film / TV and its used there would be back-end royalties. Most libraries pay 50/50 for both license and royalties, so as an interested party you would get 50% of my 50% share (ie 25% of all fees). (One library takes 60% but also manages all publishing). Don't get me wrong I'm not selling loads of tracks at present as I work full time and it's 'luck of the draw' as to what sells when, but 25% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

If you want to hear some of my stuff there's some on the following link

If you listen to My Heart's Bleedin' you'll see why I need someone who can sing!!!!!

I would be interested in hearing some of your work if you have a link or something.

Anyway, if you think this is 'your bag' and you would like to give it a try please contact me (andy.schofield@tiscali.co.uk)
Look forward to hearing from you
