Another Orchestral Action/Trailer cue - Inferno

Once again, this is just for fun. Not going for some kind of placement or listing. Just passing idle time working on something I love doing. I wrote this in only a couple of evenings because I got bored, but I ended up liking it more than I expected, so I thought I'd share it.

Opinions? Thanks :)

Thanks, Tom. :)

The synth and bells thing at the end is also one of my favorite parts. It gives it a creepy, ominous feeling, and refers back to lyrical string part in the middle. It reminds me of the part of a trailer where the name of the movie/game slowly fades in right at the end, hinting that that melody will be the main theme of the movie or game.

Hi, Steven

This has got a lot of pace and excitement. Reminded me a bit of Holst in the first half. Sounded to me like a different mood came in at around 1:20. I think the drop made it sound like this was specifically written to an edit with a cut at that point. The second half felt like a different scene. Enjoyed it, though.

Thanks, Nick. I do love The Planets :)

I intentionally made it dynamic mood-wise and connected it with a couple of melodies and background string parts that recur throughout. I did this so that if I ever use it for a trailer, as I am a film production major at college, it could make for a really awesome feel with the right edits. Thats my opinion, at least. I'm glad you liked it.

I love the arrangement! And I could really feel the intensity.

This is a fun track! Lots in there! Very dense! Very creative!
