How Long Does It Take To Get A Deal?

I was just wondering, if my song got forwarded a month ago, when would the company contact me about a deal if I were to be offered one?

Thanks, I guess I should have looked around some more. I haven't been sending the song that got forwarded anywhere else. I probably should have sent it to a couple other listings, but that's all right. Thanks for the help

Hey Neighbor,The answer is they will contact you if and when they are ready to offer a deal. That could be the next day, week, month, year or never. It's tough to grasp that realization because we seem to make getting a forward "the" goal, but its just another step in the process.I have actually been contacted the next day after a forward and as much as a year later.Best to use a forward as a conformation that you're on the right track, file it away and move on to the next song.Apr 26, 2008, 4:14am, theneighbors wrote:I was just wondering, if my song got forwarded a month ago, when would the company contact me about a deal if I were to be offered one?
