Deal - TAXI Road Rally 2006

I handed out my CD to a music libaray at the 2006 Road Rally and got a call a couple of months later to sign all 15 songs from my CD. I did sign with them in 2007 and they've placed at least 3 of my songs so far. The library I signed with is a division of a larger music library so earlier this year the larger library called me to write some songs for them. I had a meeting with them and they were so wonderful! I feel so fortunate that they really liked my songwriting and hired me as an independent contractor. It was so cool to work from home writing songs and getting paid for it. Getting a paycheck for your music is always nice. Plus I didn't have to work a desk job! Yay! Of course I never would have gotten these deals if I didn't go to the Road Rally. I'm so grateful for the opportunities I've had thanks to TAXI!
