Feedback Appreciated On 2 Tunes - Car Comm. & Rock Listing

Post by Mark Riley » Wed Mar 16, 2011 8:39 pm

Hey guys,

First time post here. I'm just hoping to get some feedback on a couple of tunes....

The first one was for a recent car listing - : Y110313IN - the tune I submitted is called "Rush".

The second one is for a rock listing - : S110317RK - and that tune is called "I Guess This Is Goodbye"

Thanks in advance for any constructive input !

Hi Mark - Also my first post.

I'm a little short on suggestions for your tracks, cuz I liked both of them just as they are.

Nicely done, sir.

Hey Mark,

Loved the Rush .. Loved how it built into the big rock sound.. Sounds clear and crisp.. Great job ..
The other one "I guess it's goodbye" ..didnt like that one one as much .. Mainly because I'm not a lyrics kinda guy .. Love the instrumentals.. It seemed after the singing started the guitars, drums and everything lost its punch. I think you need to keep that punch, even with the lower volume (dynamics).. It kinda built back up as the song kept goin. around 1:35 I noticed the kick drum came back boomin a little more which made it good. You do have a nice gritty voice .. Sounds real nice.. My two cents .. Good luck with them both ..

Hi Mark!

Really enjoyed Rush- sounds great for a car commercial.

I Guess This is Goodbye had a real nice upbeat feel to it. I am certainly not a production expert, but to me it could use a little more work in that area. Nice voice!
