What is the best BUSINESS forum?

I would LOVE to read threads on the amount of money people make for tv placements, movies, etc. That's the whole idea, right? To build business writing and playing. Like what does a placement in a low budget film generally pay?How much should I charge for a jingle? How much does a placement on Disaster Planet pay from the Science Channel?Is there a decent business forum or should that be added?I always have business questions and it would be nice to have it all in one place.

There are a few threads on the "General hangout" forum with that info. If you do a search you'll probably find them but I don't think there is a specific forum completely dedicated to that.HTHAntonio

That IS great stuff.That is exactly the type of forum that I was hoping to find. So are most of those threads on the success forum?Does anyone else think that it would be beneficial to have a BUSINESS Forum? That way, we could help each other in the business sense and be more efficient.

I agree. Post business questions in General Hangout. As to how much money people are making with their music -- there are some threads on that. Each deal is unique. Each placement is unique. [I wouldn't think of asking my friend how much they make at their job - if they want to share that, fine, but I don't expect it. IMO to ask someone to reveal how much they make is a pretty personal question. It's also against Forum rules to post company names, and I don't think it's good form to post details that would allow a company to be recognized.]However, I believe Matto was kind enough to post a list of earnings from various placements a while ago. You'd have to search for it, though, I don't remember where it was. I do know that in order to make a living from film & tv placements you need to have a serious cataloque of music out there being pitched & placed. Great thread everyone, and thanks for the links to the old Nomi / Matto thread. That thread was originally posted before I joined, so I'm glad I had the chance to read through it.
