Just a word of advice about M-Patch 2 Monitor Switches

I had purchased a SM M-Patch2 monitor switch a while back. Everything was great. Then a couple months in, the monitor switches starting sticking, and finally around 10-12 mos into it, the headphone output croaked.

The price was right for me with this piece of gear and thinking I had a lemon, I quickly purchased another one (deadlines were on the horizon!)

The switches started sticking and then, this weekend.....the headphone output croaked. I believe it was around the same period of time the first one croaked.

So the same identical things happened to two units by this company.

If you are looking for something to switch monitoring and has a headphone out....take caution when thinking about purchasing one of these things.

I rarely write something like this. It could have been coincedence, but two units?
I am sure others are using them with no issues. It's just the luck I have!

I recently bought a SM Pro Audio PR8E unit, I hope I have better luck......I will let you know if this things a lemon also....It was cheap....Don't expect it to sound great, but do expect it to work.......

Hopefully, the problems were only with the M-Patch 2....and just the two I owned!
