I'm also looking at valhalla room.

http://www.valhalladsp.com/valhallaroom

Might buy both after testing this weekend.

Valhalla also getting some big thumbs up.

For a big reverb for sound design/film/games some might also want to try valhalla shimmer. ;) Bit of info is this guy worked in the games industry on the sound side of things so the shimmer might be a good weapon for you to get that games sound.

Also mention the free freqecho

http://www.valhalladsp.com/valhallafreqecho

mmm.........maybe should do a seperate valhalla thread but maybe good to do a low/mid cost reverb roundup here.

And the freebies looks cool too!
How about that audio router for subgroup mixing?

Thanks jd!

After my first test they both sound great but I have to say that so far valhalla room for $50 is winning.

Mixes just seem to come together with this reverb!

They both sound slightly different so will now have to try em up against the lex pcm demo.

Anyone try either yet? Thoughts?

Looks like the Eareverb could be more useful for its spatialization/localization/placement tools, particularly for sampled ensembles.

After more testing with different material I can see these are both great reverbs.
Valhalla adds more colour that is sometimes great.
Eareverb is really clean and lifelike and for me will get more use as a goto reverb to create depth.

I am going to enter the eareverb group buy and will get valhalla next when I need it.

Eareverb down from 129 euro to 79 euro right now and I think (hope) 69 will happen.

Ive looked at a few of the tech forums and there is not a bad word and a few seasoned posters are saying it should be 2-300euros and is a no-brainer at this current price.

Did anyone try the demo?

I joined the group buy ;)

If 12 more people agree to sign up at 69 euro then the price will drop from 79 to 69.

129 after!

I also bought compassion from dmg

http://www.dmgaudio.com/index.php?_view ... .product.1

Check out the drum buss setting......better than the waves SSL which is what I originally wanted but thought it was too expensive.

Im liking this reverb more and more :D
They have also moved it to keyfile activation instead of c/r so its not tied to a machine. :D

Looks like 69euro will happen.
You can elect to join the group buy automatically when your price is reached eg 69/59 etc euro

Some testimonials if anyone interested.
