Tru Dat Matto!...seems most of post production editing is timing error correction and pitch correction. It can really become mechanical sounding though it overdone. Mistakes are human, some should be left in to leave a little humanity in the sound.

An Army cook once told me that he would throw some broken up egg shells into the scrambled eggs made from powder eggs. The troops knew the stuff was powdered eggs but the bits of egg shell were enough to make it taste like it was real.

Perception is the key.

[chuckles] Singer=the client; dead on.

I have used Melodyn and Waves Tune... You should try them both... After using and mixing with Waves Tune I was sold... Easy to use and sounds great...

I dunno...Melodyne works polyphonically (DNA) and doesn't require Rewire...AND is cheaper than Waves Tune. No WUP either...
I think I'm sold too... ;)
