I posted this song recently, I am new to Taxi so trying to get a grip on where I am and where to go from here. Give "Six times in the head" a listen and tell me what you think. My critique was not bad, in fact it was good. There main concern is I'm out of date. They thought if I were pitching this in the 30s and 40s I'd do great. They also are having trouble classifying my music, they say I'm a cross between Steve Earl, John Prine meets Roger Miller. I welcome any input, advice, or criticism. My main problem so far is on the ads that I think are possibilities I don't really sound like the reference bands, but I don't know of anyone who I think I sound like. I do have other material, but am waiting to publish it until I get a handle on what's going on. Ricky Charles Dodson
