Recent comedy forwards

Post by keithzizza » Thu Jun 30, 2011 9:27 am

Hi there,

New to the board (as of today!) but wanted to share a recent forward:

COMEDY INSTRUMENTAL COMPOSERS needed by a successful Music Publisher with thousands of Major Network placements each year. He has already signed over 100 TAXI members to his roster and is now launching a new music catalogue that will ONLY be available to top-tier Music Libraries. Whether you're aiming for slapstick, lighthearted, dumb-and-dumber, or just quirky fun, make certain your cues create a comedic energy that will enhance a scene and bring on the laughs and smiles. Cues must be at least 1-minute long. Keep your track focused and develop it from top to bottom. Button endings recommended. This is a SUPER HIGH BAR listing: he needs composers who can turn out high quality material on demand, delivering broadcast quality tracks QUICKLY. All performances must sound AUTHENTIC. Orchestral samples MUST be indistinguishable from the real thing! No drum machines. Drum loops/programming can be used only if the track is articulated exactly as a real drummer would play it. This listing is run ONLY through TAXI and is an exclusive deal Ð you keep 100% of the writer's share. All submissions need to be Broadcast Quality (excellent home recordings are fine). Please submit two to three songs and/or instrumentals online or per CD (include lyrics, if applicable.) All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than Friday, June 10, 2011. TAXI #Y110610CM

Quite A Good Day, Indeed

Certainly not slapstick comedy cues, but more on the lighthearted side. I was really excited to get the forward on this one.

Wondering who else got forwarded for this posting? I'd love to hear your tracks! :)

Best,

Keith

Hi Keith

I'm having a problem accessing your page for some reason and would really like to hear your tunes. Clicking on the link takes me to a 404 access forbidden page... Are your tunes online elsewhere?

Mark
