I joined Taxi Feb. 2011 and have already been contacted by a music library wanting to represent some of my songs.
I've been wanting to write for TV and film for a good while now. I find this to be very encouraging and a confidence builder.
I can do this after all. Make a dream reality. This is not a blatant plug but I'm glad I joined Taxi.

Congratulations Bruce! And don't feel embarrassed even if you DO give TAXI a "blatant plug." There's no reason to feel shy about giving props to a company that helped make a dream come true. I also posted this on the forum about how long it takes to get a deal. I agree, it's good to be enthusiastic.
Thanks again for the reply.

I joined Taxi Feb 2011. I've submitted 28 tracks for 17 returns and 11 forwards.
About a week ago I got an email from a music library wanting to represent two of my songs, BUT the very good news is they want to hear more.
I have a catalog of stuff I think they'll like, so now that I have my foot in the door I feel certain I'll have many tunes placed with them. So for me it took about 5 months to get my first deal.Thanks Taxi.
