Hi!
I'm new here on taxi.
I sent two demo songs for custom critique and got some excellent (imo) reviews and really great advice.
All though the reviewers asked for specific details but I can't reply to them can I?
For one, none of them apparently got the lyrics for the songs?
For one of them I really need to know if the lyrics are marketable or not.
Is the only thing I could do to submit for another custom critique and try to make sure that the lyrics get through this time?
Thanks

Is it possible to give reviewers feedback?

Re: Is it possible to give reviewers feedback?
Hey, Chris, welcome to the forums.
I'm no expert on the custom crit process where it comes to lyrics especially, but If I were you, the first thing I might do is to call Taxi and try to figure out how your lyrics failed to be 'sent'. If there is something about the submission system that is not user friendly, you may have some recourse. Plus, on the forums there is a screener shoutouts section and you can post comments for screeners via the screener ID number, listed on your custom crit, though I'm not sure how that applies to your situation.
Regarding getting feedback on lyrics, yes, in your request for the custom crit, that's where you would specifically ask questions relating to your concerns about marketability. I guess making your questions as specific and direct as possible would help the screener give you feedback.
If, by doing a first critique, a screener then asks you some questions, I see nothing wrong with paying for a second critique, if you feel you can derive additional value from it, like having modified your version of a song since then, or whatever. I know 25 bucks is sometimes hard to cough up, but I feel like when comparing to private lessons, or some private schools, I think it's a good deal.
Good luck with your music and hope that helps somewhat.
