WOOT HOOO! I was almost loosing faith there, but got my first forward today for:

CONTEMPORARY WORLDBEAT MUSIC ARTISTS needed by the VP of A&R at an Independent Record Label with domestic and international distribution. This label specializes in New Age and World Music and has very high profile in these genres. They have many successful Japanese artists on their roster and would like to expand into all areas of World Music. They're looking for hybrid styles with a fresh, compelling mix of ethnic and Western sounds. (Not looking for safe '90s Nouveau Flamenco! They like to take chances!) Keep your ethnic instruments real, your electronic/synth sound palette interesting, and your grooves deep. Touring, online CD sales, and web site are a plus but not necessary Ð include it in your bio if you've got it. Instrumentation and vocals (if applicable) need to be top-notch! Please submit two to three songs and/or instrumentals online or per CD, include lyrics (if applicable), photo, and bio.
