Hi Tony
Very Beatle-esque! Nice song... :D Good luck with submitting this to the Taxi Beatle-esque listings! It's a contender. :)

I'm not sure but I might have heard a few pitchy spots in the vocal. Of course, there was no autotune back then! Also, my ear for pitch is not all that great so take me with a grain of salt there.

Very enjoyable!

Best,
Casey

No problem..... Sounds like perhaps you've got one of those 'Abbey Road' sample packs then? Another luxury I'd love to pick up sometime !! Have a great weekend

Thanks much Casey...oh yes definitely some pitchy spots in there...these were rushed vocals with on the fly lyrics fer sure..though I think it may have helped towards a Ringo vocal vibe on the choruses?Anyways it's all fun!

Are you going to fix any pitchy spots? A little autotune touch up might be in order. Even though there was no autotune back then, you can make use of today's tools to give you the best advantage. As long as it's subtle and not overdone... If you need help, let me know. I have a friend that tunes up vocals well at a reasonable price.

Casey..due to all the fab input and advice coming in..I am now fixing up some midi keyboard notes, dodgy edits, and definitely the vocal bits.Luckily Propeller-head Record includes a great autotune type piece called Neptune..very intuitive as well.
Agree that pitch correction must be used VERY carefully,as we all know of the abuse these days!
I'm working with a copy of the song of course....I agree it can't hurt to make the piece as good as can be even its already been listened to and passed over...there's always another project right?...and as my junior high gym teacher coach Furdock used to say"it's all a matter of personal pride!"

Cheers,
