question about sending bio and pic's
I got a return on an instrumental, which got a nice review from screener # 79.
I assumed my bio and pic's were included via my homepage. How do I send them in the future ?
The tune is called " Indulge " The listing was S110913FO
Here are some of the quotes : Pretty difficult to find fault with the performance. Love the confidence in your delivery. Despite being an instrumental, the song is very infectious melodically. Structural arrangement flows smoothly from start to finish and feels quite satisfying emotionally.
Hey Richard - Thanks so much for submitting. If forwarding a song were based solely on the quality of the performance, I wouldn't hesitate to send this baby along, however, there is the matter of style to consider, and while there are certain similarities to what you're doing and the music of the artists referenced in the listing, it's difficult to formulate an accurate impression based on just this one song. The fact that you haven't included a photo or any biographical information makes it even more difficult to assess whether you're "vibe" is appropriate for their requirements.
From listening to just this one song it's difficult to formulate an accurate overall picture of your stylistic personality as an artist. You've failed to include a photograph or any biographical information.

Re: question about sending bio and pic's
They are not automatically sent along with your submission.
Here's how to include them in your next submission:
When you pick the listing you want to submit to and click on the link, you are taken to another page. At the top of frame that has the list of songs to pick from, there are two check boxes, one next to each one of the photos you have put on your site, and one under the heading "Artist Bio" and next to the word "credits". If you check those boxes, the photo(s) and the bio will be included. If you don't, they won't.
It's as simple as that!!

imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

Re: question about sending bio and pic's
Wow. I don't know exactly what the listing was asking for, but on the face of it, this is kind of distressing. Is it now not enough to provide great music? Do we also have to look a certain way and have a particular background in order to present a credible "vibe"? I would hope the music would speak for itself.
If the listing was not just asking for a piece of recorded music, but also for a performing artist, then I withdraw my comments above.

If I had a picture of me with Frank Zappa, I'd milk that puppy for all it's worth! But that's just me!
