Could be the lack of electronic drums. Your track is pretty organic- they definitely wanted a blend of "organic / acoustic and electronic".

They specifically ask for a contemporary drum track too- which to me means electronic drums, not samples.

Also, I don't really hear an acoustic guitar happening, even in the "acoustic" track. Sounds like its probably a nylon string. The referenced track uses a steel string.

You've definitely got a great track, tho- I'm sure you'll be able to use it somewhere down the road!

If you're interested, I was lucky enough to have my track forwarded to this listing- it's called "Flourish" on my taxi page-

Best of luck on the next one-

Chad

thanks for the feedback Chad - good luck with getting a deal on your forward - nice sounding track!
Good point about the drums.
there were 2 guitars on my track - a steel string acoustic playing the main melody (neumann km187 minimal processing), and the "solo" was a les paul DI'd (with distortion on the non "acoustic" version) - and clean on the "acoustic" version.
I wonder why they sounded nylon? maybe I need a different pick. or just crank those high frequencies.
best,
Dan
