People who purchased tix on Southwest...check flights

Post by keithl » Wed Jun 08, 2011 8:13 pm

I just purchased my departing flight from LA and by chance, checked the fare for my arriving flight to LA...exact same flight...flight #....and over $100 less!
SW credits the money to your next purchase.

Keith... I don't get it... is that good? Or is this a complaint??? I'm about to buy my airfare... and was looking at SW.

So are you saying it's cheaper to buy 2 one-way tickets rather than paying for a round trip ticket??

What Keith was saying was a good thing. With Southwest, if after you book a flight, the price goes down, they credit you the difference toward future flights. :D

Right... so he bought a one way ticket on a separate day. Then just bought his return trip and it turned out it was cheaper? I thought that the flight rewards were applied to his return trip making it cheaper...
