Hello there!Newbie.Just joined Taxi last week and submitted my first 2 songs. I'm actually a stagehand in NYC doing lighting at the Metropolitan Opera but I grew up in the country. while I was listening to the Scorpions my Dad was force feeding me Johnny Cash and needless to say his taste won out. I love music from all genres but country is my first love and I love to try and write in that area.I'm not sure yet if I'm any good but my family says (he he). Anyway, I have already learned a great deal form these forums and look forward to learning even more.K.www.taxi.com/kirtburcroff

Hi everybody!! I joined Taxi back in February and I'm having a wonderful experience. Growing up my dad and I would make up new lyrics for songs as a game/joke. I still have fun creating music, but now it's a lot more than a game. The R&B and Neo-Soul genres are my areas of expertise. I've found that there are not many people on this forum that I have this in common with, but that is true of most. Anyhoo, I look forward to getting to know everyone as I stroll through the different boards.

Well here I am. Been writing for quite a while but never pursued anything further than my notebook and singing to my family. My wife found TAXI for me and a co-worker with a studio equal a few demos in progress. And soon hopefully a little more attention.I started out heavy/hard/fast but my stuff always ends up Country. Go figure.........Thanks for having me aboard.
car's really fast if only I could afford the gas.
