Re: Forum Newbies... a few thoughts + FAQ
Thanks Vikki for starting this thread. This is really helpful! Here is my introduction:Hi! My name is Lydia Ashton. I joined TAXI a couple of days ago and am very excited when I think of the opportunities TAXI offers as well as everything I can learn from ya'll. I grew up in Sweden but I have lived in the US the last 11 years. (Oklahoma the last 10 years)I grew up with Swedish folk music and added classical music to my CD collection when I was a teenager. Since then I have added other genres and try to listen to a little of everything. If you want to hear some of my music you can go to www.lydialashton.tv or www.myspace.com/lydialashton and listen. If you only have time for one piece my favorite is Pendragon which you can find on both sites. If you have time for two pieces my second favorite is Mafia Reloaded which you can find on the first web site I listed. Now I am going to take a look around the forum.~ Lydia

Re: Forum Newbies... a few thoughts + FAQ
Hi Everyone. Yes, I'm a newbie and I've got a question. (Of course) My fiance and I created this account for the two of us to submit our music. We work as a duo and write everything together. The account is in his name with our professional name as Tall Timber. The forum account is under the name tbill. Is it okay for me to post here on his account since it's really OUR account? We joined Taxi around the 30th or 31st of July. We've already submitted to several different listings and we're hoping to go to the rally. Taxi looks like the best investment we've ever made in our careers. We searched long and hard to see which way to go. We're getting some radio airplay of our latest cd. (Mostly in europe, but a bit here stateside, as well.)I just don't want to confuse people by signing my name to a post listing him as the owner. Suzie (one half of Tall Timber)

The easy thing would be, I think, to just sign with your name when posting - as you suggested, - that should do it just fine.Again, welcome to the forum, and I wish you both the best for your submissions.- until next timefrodo
