...yet another new forum member here. I just re-joined TAXI at the top of the month after a multi-year absence. I realize now that in my first go-around, I didn't _use_ the service at all. I think I only submitted about three times throughout that year.I've resolved to myself that this year, things will be different. You can't learn what you weren't told, and from what I see here everyone involved in TAXI, whether it be fellow members or screeners, is out to just make good stuff.Anyway, like ditroiamusic up above I write for film mostly now, but not nearly the volume that I want yet. So day-job it is 'til then...Ciao. Thanks everyone.Ostin.

Hi, I just joined Taxi in order of understanding what it taking place on other website environments involved in the music business. Times have changes and in order of establishing any sort of music career one need to acknowledge what it taking place in more than one place. Taxi always has interesting and innovative stories and events that takes place so I figured that it was time to check it out.

Hi There, Thanks for the invite. I am a newbie. I have in bands some for just jamming and others playing the bar scene. I have all kinds of song ideas I made through through the years. Maybe one of them could be a hit. I was wondering why I am still pending after a month after the songs I sent. Should I take them off if there still pending? Marc.

Regular listings usually have a lag time of at least four weeks sometimes up to six weeks depending on the volume of submissions. So, everything's normal and you should be seeing them move into the "Finished" section soon, hopefully with a "forward" status. If you find listings to submit on a regular basis, then pretty soon you'll have listing results coming up on a regular basis and you won't have that "Ok... I'm waiting..." feeling like in the beginning. Welcome to the forum, to Taxi and to the "Impatient Musicians Club" of which I'm a charter member.

It can take from 3 to 6 weeks to hear from Taxi as to the status of your submission. Do not delete your songs. Check your "submission history" every couple of days just in case you don't get an email.

I don't think the system will let us remove a song with a decision pending. While cleaning up my account, I tried deleting songs that had recently been screened (read: "returned" ). It was a 2-3 week delay after the screening before I could remove them...the system said I had to wait.

Hi Taxi Riders,I've been on the verge of joining here for the last few years, and finally did it! Last night I wandered over from Just Plain Folks (and I see a lot of other JPFers here), and I'm glad I did. My goal here is to learn, refine, produce, and succeed. Two submissions last night start the journey.Good to meet you.Mike

Hello fellow TAXI forum members. I'm Wig Nelson. I'm a newbie here so I'm still a fish out of water. I'm glad to be here. I joined TAXI about a week ago and made two submissions.I got an email telling me that one of the uploads didn't take and that I should resubmit it by going to my songs and doing an edit for the song.I thought that was very kind of them. There! A positive experience right off the bat.Hope to see you around, Wig
