Friday, Saturday, classes and Panels go from like 10AM until around 6PM and there's open mic in the evening. The bookstore is generally open until 9PM

Sunday sessions go until 5ish and the bookstore closes around the same time.

There are usually 10-15 things going on at any given moment, classes, panels, mentor sessions, etc.
hey, thats very helpful, thanks alot. So I will also know then, who's coming and what subjects the panels are bout and everything, right?

and one very important question: whats a dot sticker??
Don't overthink this one...

I'm living in Switzerland, so I need to be absolutely sure whether I wanna go or not...

The dot sticker says "Hey, I'm active on the forum". It's a way that we all can see at a glance who we have been typing to all these years. You will often hear something like "Oh, so you're kc! Nice to put the face with the avatar. Over there is Mazz, Casey, Adonis, Catherder..."

Cheers -

When people who are not familiar with the forum/dot thing see me at the rally and ask "Why do you have those dots on your badge?" I tell them it's one dot for each gold record. I get a lot of free drinks that way...

Great info all - thank you.
This is my first time attending as well, and I totally appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge.
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and having a bit of a hang, shooting the musical bull.
And the toga thing, yea... sounds interesting, Mazz. :)
Aloha!

Maybe it's my age but I always think the most important advice is: get plenty of sleep before you leave home! You are not going to get much once you hit Los Angeles. You will want rest but not enough to tear yourself away from all the activity.
