Rock Forward

Post by roger5477 » Wed Nov 23, 2011 4:04 pm

My tune Rock Monster got a forward today for this listing......'70s/'80s-STYLE METAL PRODUCER/WRITERS in the range of Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, KISS, etc., needed by a Record Label focusing on film/TV licensing. SONGS and/or INSTRUMENTAL submissions are OK. They're looking to develop a roster of talented people who can follow a music brief and deliver HIGH-QUALITY tracks quickly! Songs/tracks must sound AUTHENTIC to the period. If you've got the real thingÑan actual track recorded in the '70s/'80s in this styleÑthen go ahead and submit, they will make single-track deals. If submitting SONGS, make sure your lyrics will fit a variety of scenes and the VOCAL PERFORMANCES ARE CLEARED for film/TV use. You must own or control 100% of your master recording and publishing. This is an exclusive deal with a 50/50 split. Broadcast quality needed (excellent home recordings are fine.) Please submit one to three songs and/or instrumentals online or per CD, include lyrics (if applicable.) All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Sweet tune Roger! :D I love the cowbell, perfect touch. And that Paradiddle cowbell groove = awesomeness. :D

Cool song. It sounds exactly like the listing is asking. I even hear a bit of the AC/DC in there.

And even though I was never a big fan of the cowbell, it sounds very cool in this song exepcially the guitar.
I'll settle for 5 minutes instead of 15.

Thanks again. I decided to just concentrate on just one track for the listing. I had sent three tracks for a couple of other listings and had them sent back. They could have been better if I didn't try to cram it all in by the deadline.

Thanks, I used an old ibanez roadstar and peavey signature HP model for rhythms and a newer ibanez rg360x for soloing, an old Squier JV pre-bass and Joey Kramer loops for the rhythm section. And a few different pod models for amps.
