Missed the slow song listing Y111201SS due to internet probs

Gutted! I worked all day on a new song for the 'slow song' quick turnaround listing. Finally finished mixing it 90 minutes before the deadline (noon today PDT - I'm in the UK), only to find I couldn't get on the taxi site to upload it. Tried and tried and tried for nearly 90 minutes. Emailed taxi to ask if I could have help. Got an email back to say the site was working - but I didn't get the email until over an hour after the deadline (though taxi sent it about a minute before the deadline - what happened there?!) Anyway, long story short, I've missed the deadline and I can't submit. Sooooo angry. For the first time I feel a bit cheated - I worked hard all day on this and tried to upload with plenty of time to go, only to be let down by poor internet.

That's better, I've had a rant now! If anyone would like to hear the song that never got submitted, it's on my profile (Simon Rushby) and is called 'Little Flower'. I always welcome feedback!

Stay focused folks! And meet those deadlines! I've had a tough lesson dealt out to me by taxi today...

Send a pleading eMail to them! I too was in the UK and having problems about 90 mins before I managed to submit the track. I sent Craig an eMail asking if they were having problems with the servers and they were, and he said if I had trouble submitting to be in touch and they'd sort something out.

I'd seriously send off that eMail, they'll still be screening tomorrow and may well be accomodating. Worth a shot, better than a wasted day!

Thanks Matt, I did and Craig confirmed that the song has been submitted. I'm so pleased, I really thought I'd missed the boat through no fault of my own on this one. Good old Craig, and good old taxi!
