The song that really started me getting serious about songwriting and into Taxi a few months later was a Mother's Day song I wrote on Mother's Day eve a couple of years ago. I figured the song was too personal to ever have any commercial success, and who ever heard of a listing for Mother's Day songs anyway? Well, turns out there was a dispatch listing for just such a thing a few weeks ago and I got a forward on it today!
