My Country song got forwarded to label.
Firstly hi everybody, i'm just new to the forum even though i've been on Taxi for about 2 years. This is my first forward.
My song What Goodbye Looks Like To Me has been forwarded to Big Machine Records which has artists like Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, The Band Perry and Martina McBride. To say I was excited would be an understatement.
I really hope I hear back from them, does anyone who's music's been forwarded to a label have any indication on how long they take to contact you?

Hi Nikkita,
Youll need to create a address of your page as it goes to a default page without your music right now.
I think you can find it in the user control panel

Hi Nikita...
Congrats on your forward...I dig the song...in fact...
I like all of your other songs & Bio, too...Very authentic and from the heart.
Awesome honest storytelling at its best...refreshing!
IMO...If that Label passes they should fire the A&R guy...
A Label will come a'knockin' at some point...
Good Luck!
All the Best...

Re: My Country song got forwarded to label.
Congrats, Nikita!
I also just got a label forward for an indie rock listing, and called Taxi to ask this same question. Their response was essentially that labels don't have a very fast turn around time compared to say, reality TV or a movie trailer, but suspect that they will listen to your song and contact you within the next two months if they are interested. I also feel the anxiety over waiting, but patience is a virtue! So I pretty much just have to go about my day like nothing has happened until someone calls with a contract offer. Thus, if I were you, I'd continue to submit and record, submit and record... especially now that you know you are on the right track. It's best to have the labels fighting for you if you can. Keep up the good work!
