Do you hear country?

Post by tickety » Sat Feb 25, 2012 9:40 am

im looking at this listing,
NEW LISTING -- CONTEMPORARY COUNTRY INSTRUMENTAL BEDS a la "Camouflage" by Brad Paisley, "Bait A Hook" by Justin Moore, "Drink Myself Single" by Sunny Sweeny, etc.,
TAXI # S120302CI
The song im planning on submitting is called 'shes got me now' on my taxi page.

Is it country enough? Hows the mix?

any criticism/ideas are great!

thanks guys!
michael

Hi Michael,

The a la's all have a more "honky tonk" feel than what you have here in my (subjective) opinion. As far as mix etc., it sounds decent, but it doesn't really develop too much musically. However they only asked for beds so I don't know how much that matters.

Just my two cents as always. Others may disagree. - Roger

Michael,

Chord structure and sound leans more to the blues, southern rock genre....so I would say no to the country sound.....

Dick

I don't hear the country vibe a la those references. Maybe alt. country, borderline blues.
