Yes, that's (part of the reason) I got a pair of Yamaha HS80M's, which I would highly recommend.

Once again, thanks for your recommendations.
I've really picked up some thorough advice, considering the entire chain of recording and monitoring, very impressive knowledge out there, thanks for sharing.
The monitors are a bit out of my league currently, but I've now remembered that I've got a friend who I believe has some in his attic! Right, looks like I'm off to Oxford this weekend see a good old mate of mine and buy him a pint!
