I'd also submitted "Fly" and "Waiting for You" for the same listing, but those were returned, with "Music" checked as the reason (it was a yes/no listing, and no other comments were made). Perhaps interestingly, the one that was forwarded was only a piano/vocal demo, while the others were full productions. In this market, according to the company, "typically a song will earn $10,000 in royalties if it's a filler track. If it's a hit, expect $50,000 to $100,000." NO profanity and NO third-party samples! Instrumental and vocal performances must be top-notch!
This is my fifth forward overall in the just shy of a year I've been a TAXI member, but it is my first forward for a "raw song" listing (i.e. pitching the song for another artist, as opposed to pitching a master and song for sync uses or, in one of the other four forwards, pitching myself as a singer-songwriter for a live opportunity).
