What happened with Silent Night?
I saw a handful of people posting about their returns on Silent Night. Mine was also returned, but I have yet to see anyone post about a forward.
I was under the impression that we all found out about the status of our submissions around the same time. Am I wrong?
Thanks
Bruce

I wondered about this too.
I'm figuring that the people who got forwards are either not forum members or decided to say nothing about their forward.

If the police arrest a mime, do they still say "You have the right to remain silent"?
One thing we have to remember is forum participants make up very small percentage of all Taxi members. So we can't conclude much as to how many forwards there were for a listing just based on the forum.

Our cover of this one was returned as well. Too far out of the box I guess. I'm thinking that what they say they did not want, staying within the confines of the original, is what they will forward. It's about not having to pay royalties on PD song. If we stray too far, then it deserves royalties. This is what I was told by Robin. Hope this helps. You ARE the man, Casey. D.B.

Casey,
Good point as usual.
At least I got 3 good songs already for my album I plan to put out this year.
Good point as usual.

Really? Had I know that I would not have even started on this listing. I was in it for the royalties all the way.singer1 wrote:It's about not having to pay royalties on PD song.
