TOP MADISON AVENUE AD AGENCY needs UPTEMPO "FEEL GOOD" INDIE ROCK INSTRUMENTALS for a NATIONAL TV COMMERCIAL for a TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY. Quoting the agency rep, "We're looking for FUN and ENERGETIC INSTRUMENTALS that are not too poppy, smiley or quirky. Tracks must have a HIP sound and a 'FEEL GOOD' vibe without being too Pop or saccharine. Good examples are:The Strokes "You Talk Way Too Much" http://bit.ly/MJQqJFThe Fratellis "Chelsea Dagger" http://bit.ly/OITc5fQuoting the agency rep again, "Overall, we're looking for RECENTLY RECORDED tracks by COOL and CURRENT ARTISTS."Your INSTRUMENTAL must be a minimum of 2 minutes long. Instrumentation and performance MUST sound TOP-NOTCH, CURRENT, and CONTEMPORARY. Instrumentation must sound NATURAL and AUTHENTIC. It's IMPORTANT that your SONG sounds like an ARTIST/BAND and NOT like a production music library track. Broadcast Quality is needed (excellent home recordings are fine). As always, do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists or their songs in any way, shape, or form! NO SAMPLES of other songs or artists can be incorporated into your track. The estimated fee for this license is $15,000 total. If you ARE chosen, the Ad Agency will contact you DIRECTLY. Please submit ONE to THREE INSTRUMENTALS online. Congrats, Paul! My friend Chad and I also got forwarded on this one. I think I like yours better...

:)

Ours is called Caught Starin'.

I like all the parts in your song. I feel like ours is a bit "samey". Oh well. It DID get forwarded.

Love the sound of this and nails the indie vibe beautifully. Care to talk about how it was recorded? Gear, etc.....especially the guitar and drums. Thanks , sounded great.
