Don't know what listing this was for, but it reminds me very much of old Warrant/David Lee Roth stuff. Great work and congratulations!

Hi guys I just was rejected for the very same song, 194 said the musicianship was not up to par.Just thought i'd send this out to encourage those who were rejected, music is so subjective. But I wonder how this could be said. You can like or dislike the song but ...the musicianship?27 said the musicianship was awesome I like 27's opinion better

I will have to respectfully disagree with 194. I think the musicianship is pretty tight. Just loose enough to give the song the right feel. A sterile, MIDI-exact sound wouldn't fit for this type of song. I have to agree with you though... Music is subjective. VERY subjective. That's what makes it difficult on those of us trying to get our songs heard. This song is the most catchy tune I've heard from any Taxi member so far. I've gone back to listen to it several times over the past week. Kudos!

Thanks TowermanI've learned over the years not to get to high or low on someone opinion and go with my gut feeling. 194 doesn't like it 27 did and ypo and I do .Thanks for the support I think it's a fun song it's not Beethoven, oh yeah 194 gave it a 5 out of 10 on marketability. We've played it live and I also would have to respectfully disagree with that assesment from crowd reaction.

Congrats to you!! It's got to feel good to get a forward. I know what you mean about different feedbacks from Taxi reviewers. I have had totally different comments on the same song by different reviewers. In fairness to them, I notice they do review the song only as it applies to the listing. To get a more overall accurate opinion on just the song itself you have to pay for a critique. You can't really go by the comments from a listing because the song isn't being reviewed on the songs own merits, but only as it applies to the listing. That's what I've found for the most part.Buc

It's too bad there isn't some kind of service that would let us pitch our songs directly to certain TV shows. This song would be perfect for "Sons of Anarchy" on FX!
