Im actually Salty because its part of my last name...had it since birth actually;
but I know, its become quite popular now- first I had to accept Angelina Jolie's movie, and no date with her to make up for the name swiping- what is the world coming to? ;)

Anyway- GL, make the name proud!

Hey Bruce,
I finally got a chance to listen to Dixie Tattoo and the performance is great as always.
The only nitpicking thing I could find was the dynamics.
I didn't feel the breakdowns and builds you would expect from the Allman Brothers. The drums didn't quite sound as
acoustic as you would want from this style of music. I would try playing your loops through Abbey road drums or
Toontracks vintage rock for a more realistic sound, also volume automation would help with the builds and breakdowns to give the
feeling of real human interaction.
This is all production stuff that I still need to work on but I feel it will make a huge difference in the end product.

Rich.

Hey Bruce, I am from Macon ,GA. and was there when the Allmans came to town. I witnessed the Bros up close many many times. Your track absolutely captured the sound and unique ambience they had. I think you ought to send the track to Gregg. He'd probably get a real kick out of it.

Hey Bruce
Hope you are well! :D Keep making great music and the rest will come. It's not uncommon to write tracks specifically for Taxi listings, get returns, but then sign the tracks elsewhere. That's because Taxi screening has to be a little more narrow focused on the exact listing criteria, whereas there are many oppportunites out there that have more leeway.

Using Taxi listings as motivation to create new music has tons of benies. Sometimes you get the Taxi forward (and deal!) and often when you don't, you have very marketable tracks to use for future listings and/or outside opps. It's win-win.

And you WILL get more Taxi forwards and deals. You have great chops, great attitude, and work hard... It's a recipe for success.

Best,
:D Casey
