Music Library
I've submitted songs to one of the premier music libraries in the past and have always been rejected. Now, two of the three songs I last submitted have gone from a status of "pending" to "checking rights holders". I haven't heard from the library about this, but it sounds like maybe they are being accepted. Do I need to make sure my songs are registered with my PRO at this point?

Re: Music Library
Hey congrats Cam! In my experience this does mean your songs have been accepted, and yes, you will need to register them with your PRO ASAP so they can get them processed. They actually prefer we register them before submitting. I know they are backlogged at the moment processing all of my songs
You should be hearing from them soon!

Re: Music Library
Thanks Marc! Got them registered just now. Hopefully I have finally figured out what this library is looking for.

Re: Music Library
i have 2 pieces in the "checking rights holders" status with them...
one is orchestral and when i tried to register with BMI i got this:
"Please continue to register new works on Classical Music Registration forms."
i could not find those forms. i obviously didn't write it for the concert hall but "classical" was the closest genre
help or suggestions much appreciated
thx!
edit: another question... how will this play out if and when a 2nd library is interested in these pieces?
