Thanks all for the words of encouragement. Glad to be a part. Have been reading the forum for about a year now and finally decided to join. Mojo, I took a peak at your site. Impressive! I saw you were from Lafayette. Will watch for you up this way. Thanks also Phil for the critique of my stuff. You have no idea...or maybe you do, how I have pulled my hair out and driven myself nuts for the past 20 years to get something that sounds good in my bedroom studio to sound good other places. It's like a phobia with me now. Nice to hear it sounds good on your system.Dave

Welcome aboard the Taxi fun train, Dave! And I agree with the other Dave that Dave is an awesome name -- hmmm, maybe I should change my name so I can be in the Dave club . . . Anyhoo, enjoy this wonderful community of creative co-horts. Taxi is AWESOME! ,SuzP.S. [Geezer voice:] Why, I remember using my Mac 512k computer with the system, the software (PageMaker 1.0) AND all the documents on a single floppy disk. And recording on an old Fostex 4 track cassette player. Oh, my, where did I put my Geritol? !!

Hey Der Llama & SuzThanks for the posts! As to Der Llama's comment that "you're only as good as your last accordion solo"...well my 1st instrument was the accordion. It was actually popular then! But alas, along came the Beatles. Thanks Suz. Have visited your site a number of times. I think a local guy here in town has done some work with you.Good luck to all,DavePS Now where did I put that Geritol?
