I would think about what the biggest thing that's holding your career back is. And then focus on classes/panels that address that one thing. Hopefully you will get the tools that will help you make a giant leap forward during the coming year, so then you can focus on something else next Rally.
I think that's the fastest way forward. If you try to learn a little of everything your first Rally, you may come away overwhelmed because you may feel that there are so many things you need to work on...

Another thread full of great advice! Someone mentioned sharing notes on classes. If there were no classes changed it would t 12 years to attend every class. What I think would be awesome was if there was an actually thread / section on the forum where each class was listed and people could post things they learned most about each class individually. The instructors could comment also if they wanted to clarify etc

I know there must be reasons against it , but to me it would intensify the road rally experience that much more.

Hey Richard,

I don't see why us "dots" can't just start threads in this section of the forum. It seems that it only lights up in the time near the rally anyway, so we could keep it going all year... or if it is against the rules, I am sure there is at least one person here who could make a private forum somewhere for us to share stuff. ;)

We could do it via Google Docs. You can make a Google Doc shareable and editable by anybody if you want. We could then post the links to each Google Doc in one thread.

we've posted our notes before on the forum, as far as I know there's not any rule against it

Either way, google docs or thread would be great! It would be a sort of oral history of the rally and it would be so nice to capture memories while they are fresh. There are several AWESOME classes I will miss attending because of scheduling and would love to hear the skinny on what happened in those classes.

Looking forward to the rush of learning, seeing old friends and making new ones.

So, any notes digitized yet for sharing?
I need to unravel my notes...next week.

Only one page so far but we should all keep at this thread to prod each other into making them shareable by New Years. :D
