Success! Crime Drama (3/3) /Smooth Jazz (1/1)
Hey everybody. I'm new to TAXI and new to the forum and I thought I'd join the fray since everyone else is talking about all the forwards they got. I've been forwarded on two of my first submissions so far! I waited so long and hard to hear about back these so when the good news came through I was elated. I can't wait to do more.SLOW CRIME DRAMA:Heavy and Hollowhttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=234090&stream=trueUp Against Ithttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=2340 ... trueSMOOTH JAZZ (the sax is a little sharp but it was forwarded anyway):Easy Streethttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=235909&stream=true

Hey bobadohshe!I would've listened to your tunes, but because of the format that you have them in causes me to only have the option of downloading (which I don't particularly care to do), I unfortunately had to pass.If you'd like to use another format for streaming your tunes, there are those of us who'd appreciate that alot! This makes for real easy listening for some us. Here's a format that I think just about works for everyone:http://www.taximusic.com/stream/XXXXXX/ ... r_Tune.mp3 (X's being your song ID#, and underscores seem to work fine as spaces for your song title).Or, you can just list your TAXI hosting page, that's even easier. An example would be something like this (if you have your hosting page setup properly, use whatever name you have on there):http://www.taximusic.com/hosting/home.p ... badohsheor, even easier:www.taxi.com/bobadohsheor, if you have your own functioning myspace, or soundclick, etc... page, those will work too. No biggie, just thought you might increase the amount of listens that way. Hope that helps, and hope to hear these tunes real soon! ibanez468

Very nice, very fitting for the listing (as shown by your success rate:-) ) Congratulations

These are four great tracks - I really enjoyed them all. If this is indicative of the stuff you produce then you will probably have many more forwards in the future. As far as the Sax being sharp - if you wouldn't have mentioned it - I may not have even noticed it. But since you did - I really noticed it - especially on the repeated note figures. Even with that it was still an enjoyable piece - Nice job.Trent

The format I used seems to be used by a lot of people on the forum so I figured I'd just go with what I've seen the most.

Initially it seemed to sound fine but when I listened on a different set of speakers I cringed. But I didn't have time for a rerecord! What I should have done is rerecorded the sax AFTER submission but before screening. Am I correct in thinking that you can change you songs up until the point where the screener gives them a listen? After that I was told, whatever version was screened is the version that will be passed on to the company.
