Uptempo Crime

Post by mazz » Fri Jun 12, 2009 7:02 am

HIGH/UPTEMPO INVESTIGATIVE DRAMA INSTRUMENTALS are needed by an East Coast Music Publisher who has secured dozens of Film/TV placements for TAXI writers over the years. He is looking for exciting, driving beds ranging from Industrial Techno Rock to Orchestral styles that have a high intensity, powerful dramatic tone. He said "percussion rules", he wants "speed" and said "make it move, make it hot" with a climactic building to the end. He's open to any arrangement or instrumentation, as long as the tone is right.Got the F. The screener specifically mentioned liking the drum sounds.http://www.reverbnation.com/tunepak/1546144WooHoo!!

Great piece, mazz! Crazy double bass, but it fits right in there. Love the slightly humorous angle - if you ask me, they should put it in the next season of Chuck.

Thanks folks.I ripped off the acoustic bass idea from the soundtrack from the first season of 24. When I heard it, I thought it was a hip choice amongst all the electronic sounds, so I "borrowed" the idea! Mazz

Hey mazz!Congrats! I remember this one too! COOL! You took your second quotation literally. But in "borrowing" fashion, eh? Whatever works bud! ibanez468
