CRIME DRAMA INSTRUMENTALS - TAXI #Y090504CD

Post by gburgess » Thu Jun 04, 2009 12:42 pm

Due to time limitations I was only able to create/submit one composition for this listing. I figured one good tune was better than two or three stinky ones. I’m very thankful to have gotten a forward for this listing as the guidelines stated “excellent performances are absolutely necessary.” Even though I’m an older guy, when it comes to composing and engineering quality music, I’m just a kid. So a high bar forward helps me understand that I am heading in the right direction and that working hard to further develop myself has not been a waste of time.Special thanks to all of you who take time from your busy schedules to share links to your forwarded and signed tunes. Listening to your music has been instructive and very helpful to me. I would not have gotten this forward without your help!http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... eam=trueGB

I really liked how you used the rock drum track as a crescendo build to the end. I thought that was pretty clever.Congrats!B

Rock on GB! Congrats on the forward! I agree with Bryan, like the way you use the rock drum to build to the end... As I listened, it made me think of songs by some of my favorite bands like Sevendust, that use these types of elements as intros to their songs and then they EXPLODE with full blown metal riffs... Even though I knew the song was going to end before a metal riff could appear, I was just hoping beyond hope that it would happen anyways as you did a great job of building anticipation for something else to come... Great job!- Big Blue
