Coupla' Wacky Classics & Some Drama

Post by ibanez468 » Thu Jun 04, 2009 11:41 am

1/2 on the Crime Drama Instrumental & 2/2 on the Wacky Classical Instrumental.CRIME DRAMA INSTRUMENTALS in the style of the underscore for such dramas as CSI and 24, are needed by an East Coast Music Publisher who has secured dozens of Film/TV placements for TAXI writers over the years. He is looking for mysterious and suspenseful styles that "must have a contemporary rhythm section". He'll be looking for shifts in tone, instrumentation and dynamics throughout each piece. He definitely does not want it as hyper-tempo as requested in listing # Y090512ID . He's open to any arrangement or instrumentation, as long as the tone is right. Excellent performances are absolutely necessary. He specifically said he wants to hear tracks that are :60 seconds in length. He doesn't want fadeouts, just clear endings. Broadcast quality is required [excellent-sounding home recordings are OK.] Forbidden ActPUBLIC DOMAIN CLASSICAL PIECES a la Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, etc. are needed by an Independent Record Label for a "wacked-out" Classical Box Set project for kids that they are currently working on. This company has signed dozens of TAXI writers for use on projects distributed by Sony/BMG, Universal, EMI, etc. They would like to hear interesting and unusual renditions of classical compositions and are willing to consider almost anything that is off the beaten path. Some examples they gave are jazzed up versions of a Bach Prelude or Fugue (a la Claude Bolling) or a saxophone quartet (with or without a rhythm section) or a rock version of a movement of a Mozart piece. Please Note: They are willing to hear original or non-public domain pieces like Rachmaninoff, but really prefer known composers. If you submit originals, they must be outstanding and have the quirky edge the company is looking for.Rondo Alla TurcaNocturne in E Flat Major Op. 9 No. 2PS -- Congrats to all the folks that have gotten forwards recently. You guys are SMOKIN', as usual!! Also CONGRATS to all of those with new deals! Here's to many more!! And also HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, to anyone I might've missed! KEEP ON ROCKIN'!ibanez468

Hey brindab! Thanks for listenin'! Yngwie? Ha!! I can only wish! Hey eagle!! Been tryna' keep busy and all. Naaah, 'bout the only time I practice, is when I'm puttin' somethin' together. I know, not good! I did Nocturne back in Dec. of 2007, so it's been sittin' around for about a year and a half. Thought this listing would be a good opp. Got the guitar last summer. I'm done buyin' things for right now, so gotta' make do with what I got. Thanks for the listen dude!ibanez468

Forbidden Act - Man you fit a lot into a little space. In terms of "shifts in tone" you really nailed it. Rondo Alla Turca & Nocturne in E Flat Major Op. 9 No. 2 - Wow!Great stuff Bruce. Thanks for sharing. Congrats!
