1/1 on Crime Drama

Post by aldicicco » Thu Jun 04, 2009 6:24 pm

Hi Everyone! This forward is especially gratifying since it is neither ethnic, humorous/goofy, nor accordion music. At last a chance to do some dark piano...www.taxi.com/aldiciccoA Minute to Kill Best wishes,Al

Wow Al! I like it, simple but very effective, has a kind of a "Perry Mason" feeling, you know, gumshoe film noir. I have to learn from you and try to keep things simpler, I always want to do a super-production of anything.Well deserved congratz!!

Thank you Brindabella!I chuckled a couple of weeks ago over your happiness over your "sans-piano" forward. I was at the opposite end, hoping for a piano ANYTHiNG forward. I thought by keeping it simple and subdued, any kind of a break-out could be more dramatic You picked this up right away! Thanks too for pointing out the noir vibe!Al

Thanks Jeff and Kel! I'm glad you liked it. I'm starting to feel a lot better about my DAW and am getting the results I was hoping for. I have a lot a people to thank on these boards for their encouragement. Best wishes,Al

Hey Al, big congrats here. Awesome that you were able to step out of your comfort zone and get a forward on this piece. Yeah, you don't hear many crime drama pieces with accordion in them!Well done, my friend.Steve

George, Steve and Mazz - thank you very much!Steve - if there's ever a crime and drama listing involving an Italian or Sicilian job, don't be surprised if I strap on that accordion again...... Best wishes,Al
