It totally amazes me, how many classless people show up around here at times. I generally tend to stay out of this kinda' stuff, but thought I'd say that I was really not that much of a Michael Jackson fan. I used to have a few 45's from way back when, I own a cassette tape of his "Dangerous" album (which I thought was excellent BTW), and that's about it. I will say that he's probably the most talented & gifted entertainer that we will have ever had the opportunity of seeing in our lifetimes. Like Michael Jordan, I don't think there'll ever be another! There are no molds for these 2. No duplicates of any kind! But to come on here (as Art has) and make alot of classless remarks, really shows how much ignorance one can carry around with him. That kind of mentality needs to go to one of those other sites, where all the other ignoramouses reside. If you're gonna' say anything, at least say something positive, and leave all of that other crap at the other crapsites. Otherwise, don't say anything at all. There's already enough stench in the air without you having to contribute to it!Some food for thought:It is better to conceal one's lack of knowledge than to reveal one's ignorance. If you believe everything you read, better not read.A wise man makes his own decisions, an ignorant man follows the public opinion.A rumor goes in one ear and out many mouths.A lie travels round the world while truth is still putting her boots on.Deal with the faults of others as gently as with your own.

I remember reading an article about children who were victims of child molestation by Catholic priests, and the absolute rage that many of them feel as adults. We can't know if Arthur was a victim, or if someone he loves was a victim. It's something to consider in understanding his angry remarks here.Even when a person is acquitted, not everyone believes the verdict. Especially if the crime hits a hot button for them.

Psychologically speaking, the anger he's showing is actually more symptomatic of having been a victim.Anyways, I was a big MJ doubter, but I have read a lot of articles/analysis late and the image of him I have in my mind right now is the brilliant genius entertainer who never had a proper childhood and spent his later years and all of his wealth trying to have one.Regarding the Jordy and Gavin cases, at the time I was pretty sceptical, but I now think he was most likely completely innocent, but suffered at the hands of his poor judgement and his opportunistic "friends" (or more accurately, their parents).Either way, for someone who has been quite tired of all of the MJ shenanigans for years, I found myself to be surprisingly affected by his death. Finally, I hope this doesn't sound twisted, but I believe his lasting image/memory will only be stronger for the 50 shows @ O2 not going ahead...

I'm going to re-post this from my local music messageboard so as to give a more complete picture of my feelings on the Jackson issue; I have some experience in matters of childhood sexual abuse, though I don't define myself as a victim; I believe the most cursory reading of psychological literature and Jackson family history bears it out."Leaving aside the question of how much justice a wealthy person of any color can buy in the US of A, (and only in America can a young black boy grow up to be a dead white woman) I think some folks tend to misapprehend just how seriously weird a dude MJ was. I don't for a second believe that Michael was a pedophile, though I can understand why he displayed similar characteristics, and up to a point, appeared to fit the profile. (a friend of mine once remarked, during the controversy surrounding Jackson's trial, that given what was known about his behavior, it'd be weirder if he didn't have sex with the kids he was accused of molesting, and I tend to agree)It's not difficult to understand how a kid like Michael, who was making a living in the entertainment biz since the age of about five, could develop a Peter Pan complex- and idolize the childhood he never had. Sex and the adult relationships that go with it can be a scary thing for a kid his age, and he's on the road with his elder brothers who are taking advantage of the situation at every conceivable opportunity. Small wonder his parents feared he might be gay and asked a family friend to try to straighten him out. (with predictably disastrous results)Fast forward a few years and children are now the only people that take MJ at face value, that don't want anything but a song from the most recognizable, wealthiest pop star on the planet. Small wonder if he preferred to spend his time with them."I pray that Michael's life and career inspire greater understanding and forgiveness in us all.

Ok I will just go ahead and say it, after reading over all of this arther guy's comments, I have found that this guy is not acting as a victim would act, but acts more like the offender who is in denial of the sick perverted life he lives.
Find something you love to do so much you will do it for free, and learn to do it so well they will pay you for it.

You don't want the A man to report you for violation of Internet law 672.421 subsection 9 which states "...one cannot refer to a tool as such. Even if said tool is deserving of such reference, one must show a reasonable amount of control. "I think the term "reasonable" is your out.

I'm all for sharing different viewpoints about things -- it deepens our understanding of one another and our sense of collective community. However, in my judgment, most people here at the forums (myself included) prefer to discuss differences respectfully, rather than throwing out hostile remarks that seem to be recreational provocation more than anything else.Just feels like a game to me to poke and prod people with hostile jabs in order to get attention -- not a game I'm interested in playing. So can we get back to more mature discourse?
